NECSTouR AGM 2021

Will be the NECSTouR AGM a fully safe and healthy event?

Zero risk never exists. However, Tirol Werbung N. 1 priority is the health and safety of our conference attendees, employees and staff supporting. In partnership with the Congress Center Alpbach, they established a safety and health protocol that is following the European and National rules and considering the general development of Covid-19 infections onsite.

You can have an overview of this protocol through the FAQs below.

Starting from 15.
09.21 the Austrian Government has revised the health and safety measures for the country. The Antigen Test are now valid for 24 hours and FFP2 masks are required again.
We have adapted the website and added Health and safety regulations incl. FAQ.
Please keep in mind that we have additional rules in place for the AGM 2021.

Rules to Travel to Austria

Can I travel to Alpbach from my Country?

Just check if your country is considered as a country with low or high incidence rate through the national COVID-19 web portal of Austria.

For additional information, we recommend you checking also the webpage Re-open Eu and your national COVID-19 web portal.

We recommend you to constantly check the list of high-risk countries as this is constantly updated

Which travelling rules do I have to respect if I am travelling from a safe country?

Participants travelling form a country with a low incidence rate (see question "Can I travel to Alpbach from my Country?”), must show a negative PCR test or proof of vaccination/past infection upon their arrival, but no pre-travel clearance or quarantine will be needed.

You need to have spent the past 10 days within these countries (or Austria) only. Otherwise, check the question below.

Which travelling rules do I have to respect if I am travelling from a high-risk country?

Participants travelling from a country considered as high-risk (see question "Can I travel to Alpbach from my Country?”) must show a negative PCR test or proof of vaccination/past infection.
      In addition, they must:
      • Fill in a pre-travel clearance through the form here
      • Respect a 10-days long quarantine when entering in Austria
However, persons who can present a vaccination certificate or a medical certificate which confirms full vaccination or that are travelling for business purposes are exempted.

We recommend you to constantly check the list of high-risk countries as this is constantly updated

Which travelling rules do I have to respect if I am travelling through another country?

If you are staying in another country less than 48 hours while you are travelling to Austria, you will still be considered as coming from your country of origin (see question "Can I travel to Alpbach from my Country?”)
You need to have spent the past 10 days within these countries (or Austria) only.

Can I leave the country before my 10 days of quarantine are up?

Yes, you may end your quarantine to leave Austria.
Please try to minimise any exposure to others during your trip.

When entering Austria, my COVID test cannot be older than 24/72 hours. Is this from when the test was administered or when the result was obtained?

The 24/72 hours are calculated from when the test was administered

              Rules at the AGM

Which are the current rules to organise an international event in Austria? Which are the additional measures adopted at the NECSTouR AGM 2021?

In Austria, events can take place when following the protective measures foreseen under the green pass regulation: you will need to show either a negative COVID test or proof that you have been vaccinated/have had COVID.
A FFP 2 face masks are required on public transport starting from 15th September.
For more information on the general rules in Austria check here
For events and public gatherings, the event organizer can apply additional rules, when it benefits the health & safety of the participants.
Looking at the general development of Covid19 infections in autumn, we feel that we need to make sure all participants have a safe and healthy environment at the event.
For that reason, we have applied additional measurements to enter the NECSTouR AGM 2021 in Alpbach:

A proof that you are fully vaccinated/have had COVID AND an additional negative antigen test.
Antigen-Testing on-site is provided for NECSTouR Members and it is free of charge.
We offer free Antigen testing at the Congress Center Alpbach at defined times (see the question “Where and when can I get tested?”).
Make sure you show a proof of vaccination/past infection and a valid negative antigen test before you participate any activity.

If you are not vaccinated, please make sure you do arrive with a valid PCR test that is valid until end of 22nd September.
We offer free PCR testing on 21st September from 13:30 – 15:30 (new validation for 22.-23.09. 2021) and 22nd of September from 08:00 – 09:30 (new validation for 24.-25.09. 2021)

Wearing a FFP 2 mask is required while you are entering the Congress Center and will be required until you are seated.
FFP2 mask will be available onsite free of charge

              • Please keep at least 1m distance to other participants

              • Please act accordingly to specific regulations communicated onsite
We do apologize if you feel we ask too much of you and we do understand that this could be a reason, why you might not join the AGM 2021 on-site, but we do hope you feel our commitment to you and your health, which is most precious for us and this is our main concern while planning the event.

Why is an antigen Test needed also if I am fully vaccinated?

Vaccinated participants can catch an infection and might not have symptoms.
Additional testing will make sure that the risk of a covid-infection will be as low as possible during the event.

For which days and sessions does the on-site rules apply?

We need to apply same rules for ALL on-site people and ALL sessions - this is essential.
This is why we offer a free of charge testing station at the Congress Center Alpbach shortly before the programme starts (see the question “Where and when can I get tested?”)

Where and when can I get tested and how much does it cost?

There is a number of official test-stations and official screening streets all over Tirol. To make it most convenient for the NECSTour Members, there will be a testing center at the Congress Center in Alpbach each day before the programme starts.
The testing is free of charge, Tirol covers the costs.
